Canadian Youth Workers Conference 2007

What better reason to kick some blogging off than Canadian Youth Workers Conference 2007 .  Tons of youthworkers descend on our perfect, sunny, snow in the mountains, picture-perfect home.  The Sheraton Wall Centre sees 900 of us from all over the country get together to meet, learn, share, go nuts, worship, pray, and live life to the full.

I used to pass the Wall Centre every day on the bus for a year when working downtown at HSBC, and something about it always alerted my attention - it's a totally cool building, and has been the highest building in the city for a while .. soon to be outbuilt.  I used to pray about it a load, and dream of it full of people worshipping God.  And now it's going to happen in the next few days, it's really really weird.  But I LOVE it.

So fun to walk in the front door this afternoon with the beautiful family and instantly connect with 9 people I know.  It's going to be 4 solid days of chatting with friends about stuff that we are totally passionate about - young people getting excited about Jesus.  Aaaahhh .. good days.
