Joel and I enjoyed a backlane development in the form of puddle boules (FR) or bocci (IT) the other day. The rain was not as torrential, but the puddle was on fine form. Essential ingredients were similar: water, wet weather gear, windfalls. Take it in turns to hurl apples toward each other in the hope of good bopping (splashing), and eventual destruction of apples. much fun. ollie and liz slept. unlike right now as i type this post one handed on his one week anniversary to the minute!
